Frazer Churchill is a VFX Supervisor with over 15 years experience
Frazer began his career at the Moving Picture Company (MPC) where he became one of the first five artists to join its new film division set up in 1994. After a successful career at MPC he and the other core members of the film group left to help found Double Negative. Frazer fulfilled a senior role in projects such as Pitch Black, Nutty Professor 2, Enemy at the Gates and was VFX Supervisor on Bridget Jones’ Diary. Frazer left Double Negative in 2001 to supervise Dinotopia, the TV series, at Framestore-CFC, for which he received a VES award nomination (Best Effects in a TV series).
In 2007 he gained a BAFTA nomination (for Achievement in Special Effects) for his supervisory work on Alfonso Cuarons Children of Men.
In 2008 He wrote directed and produced his own short film (Hatemail) which won an award and played at Slamdance, Nashville and Edinburgh amongst many others.
He was then charged with overall show VFX supervision on Scott Pilgrim Vs The World a 1200 shot show for Edgar Wright and Universal for which he made the 2011 Oscar bake-off list.
